Job Description

Are you passionate about people and eager to kickstart a career in luxury hospitality? Rydges Port Macquarie is seeking an enthusiastic Concierge Offsider to join our dedicated team. This is a fantastic entry-level opportunity to learn the intricacies of five-star guest service, working alongside experienced concierge professionals. No prior hotel experience is required – we will provide comprehensive training to help you master the art of luxury guest relations. You’ll assist our concierge team with various tasks, ensuring our guests have an unforgettable and seamless stay.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Concierge team with guest arrivals and departures, including luggage handling and transport coordination.
  • Learn and apply luxury hotel standards in all guest interactions and service delivery.
  • Provide accurate and helpful information to guests regarding hotel services, local attractions, dining, and transportation.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the hotel lobby and entrance areas.
  • Support the Concierge in fulfilling guest requests, such as booking tours, making restaurant reservations, or arranging special amenities.
  • Operate hotel vehicles (if licensed and trained) for guest transfers or errands.
  • Ensure all guest interactions are handled with professionalism, discretion, and a friendly demeanour.

  • Ability to speak a second language.
