Job Description
We are seeking a proactive and compassionate Chiropractic Clinic Assistant to manage our front desk operations and ensure smooth patient flow. This vital role involves being the first point of contact for our patients, handling administrative tasks, scheduling appointments, processing payments, and maintaining a welcoming clinic atmosphere. Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and check-in patients, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Manage appointment scheduling, rescheduling, and confirmations efficiently.
- Handle patient inquiries, both in-person and over the phone, with professionalism.
- Process patient payments, insurance verification, and billing inquiries.
- Maintain accurate patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance.
- Assist with clinic upkeep, ensuring a clean and organized reception area and treatment rooms.
- Support chiropractors and other staff with administrative tasks as needed.
- Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence.
- Educate patients on clinic services and care plans where appropriate.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 6 months experience in a customer service or administrative role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (Microsoft Office Suite, email).
- Empathetic and patient-focused approach.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High level of discretion and respect for patient confidentiality.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a medical, dental, or chiropractic office setting.
- Familiarity with patient scheduling software (e.g., Jane App, ChiroTouch).
- Knowledge of basic medical terminology.
- High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education is a plus.
