Job Description
Are you a friendly, energetic individual looking for a fun and dynamic casual role? Timezone Belconnen is seeking enthusiastic Casual Arcade Staff for day shifts to join our team. In this role, you’ll be the face of fun, helping our guests create unforgettable memories by providing exceptional customer service, assisting with games, and maintaining our vibrant environment. No prior experience in arcades is necessary; we provide comprehensive training for the right candidate who brings a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist guests with a friendly and welcoming attitude
- Explain game rules and assist guests with game operation
- Operate the prize counter, assisting guests with prize redemption
- Handle cash and process electronic payments accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the arcade floor and attractions
- Monitor game functionality and report any technical issues
- Uphold safety standards and ensure a secure environment for all guests
- Assist with party hosting and event coordination as needed
Required Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A positive, enthusiastic, and customer-focused attitude
- Reliability and punctuality for scheduled shifts
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Basic mathematical skills for cash handling and transactions
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail, hospitality, or customer service roles is a plus, but not essential
- A genuine interest in gaming and entertainment
- First Aid certification (desirable)
