Job Description
Join Cleanaway as an Entry Level Cardboard Recycler in Grafton! This is an immediate start, full-time opportunity for motivated individuals looking to kickstart a career in the essential waste management and recycling industry. No prior experience is required, as full training will be provided. You will play a crucial role in our recycling facility, contributing to the efficient processing of cardboard materials and supporting our mission to create a cleaner, greener Australia. This is an on-site position.
Key Responsibilities
- Sort and separate various types of cardboard and paper materials according to established guidelines.
- Operate basic recycling equipment (e.g., balers, compactors) after receiving appropriate training.
- Perform general clean-up and maintenance of the recycling area to ensure a safe and organized workspace.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Assist with loading and unloading materials as required.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisors promptly.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve daily production targets.

- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
