Job Description
Join our dedicated team as a Car Detailer at our Bruce dealership. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for stable, ongoing work within a professional automotive environment. You will be responsible for ensuring all new and pre-owned vehicles are presented to the highest standards, ready for delivery to our valued customers. We are looking for an individual with a keen eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and a passion for making vehicles shine. Full training will be provided to the right candidate, ensuring you have the skills and knowledge to excel in this role and build a long-term career with us.
Key Responsibilities
- Thoroughly clean, wash, polish, and wax vehicles, both interior and exterior.
- Vacuum and shampoo upholstery and carpets.
- Clean and condition leather surfaces.
- Dress tyres and exterior plastics.
- Perform minor paint touch-ups and swirl removal where necessary.
- Inspect vehicles for imperfections and ensure showroom readiness.
- Maintain a clean and organised detailing bay.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and product guidelines.
Required Skills
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Physical stamina and ability to perform tasks requiring bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
- Basic understanding of vehicle cleaning products and techniques (training provided).
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in car detailing or a related automotive role is an advantage, but not essential.
- Valid Australian driver's license.
- Ability to operate manual and automatic vehicles.
- Knowledge of different vehicle surfaces and appropriate cleaning methods.
