Job Description
Join Nike’s dynamic Business Intelligence team as an Intern and contribute to meaningful projects that impact our global operations. This internship offers a unique opportunity to apply your analytical skills and gain hands-on experience with industry-leading BI tools like Tableau and PowerBI. You will support data visualization, dashboard development, and reporting initiatives, helping to transform complex data into actionable insights that drive business decisions. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the development, maintenance, and optimization of dashboards and reports using Tableau and PowerBI.
- Gather and analyze data from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Collaborate with BI developers and business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Participate in data validation and quality assurance processes to ensure accuracy and reliability of reports.
- Create and maintain documentation for developed reports and dashboards.
- Support ad-hoc data analysis requests from various business units.
Required Skills
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Business Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau and PowerBI (academic projects or personal study welcome).
- Basic understanding of SQL for data querying and manipulation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, capable of working effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous internship or project experience in data analysis or business intelligence.
- Experience with large datasets and data warehousing concepts.
- Knowledge of other BI tools or programming languages (e.g., Python, R) is a plus.
