Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and physically capable Bulk Goods Handler to join our team in Warrnambool. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking for ongoing, full-time work in the heavy industry sector. As a Bulk Goods Handler, you will be integral to the efficient movement and storage of various bulk commodities. This role involves operating a range of machinery, meticulous adherence to safety protocols, and contributing to the smooth flow of our operations. Key Responsibilities

• Operate various bulk handling equipment, which may include forklifts, front-end loaders, and conveyor systems, under supervision and after training.
• Assist with the loading and unloading of trucks, trains, and potentially vessels, ensuring goods are handled safely and efficiently.
• Monitor equipment and product flow, identifying and reporting any issues or irregularities.
• Conduct routine pre-start checks and basic maintenance on machinery.
• Adhere strictly to all company safety procedures, policies, and industry regulations.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area, including general housekeeping duties.
• Accurately complete all necessary paperwork and record-keeping related to goods movement and inventory.
• Participate in ongoing training and development programs.
• Work collaboratively with team members to achieve operational goals.
