Job Description
Join our dedicated team as a Bowling Lane Oiler – Late Night Alley Maintenance specialist. This critical on-site role is responsible for the meticulous upkeep and conditioning of our bowling lanes during off-peak hours, ensuring optimal playing conditions for our guests. You will operate specialized lane oiling equipment, perform minor mechanical adjustments, and assist with general facility maintenance. This is an excellent opportunity for an detail-oriented individual who thrives in an independent, late-night environment and is committed to quality. Full training will be provided, making this an ideal entry-level position for those eager to learn a specialized trade.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain specialized lane oiling machines according to established schedules and procedures.
- Apply appropriate oil patterns to bowling lanes, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Monitor lane conditions, identify issues, and perform necessary adjustments or minor repairs.
- Clean and inspect bowling lanes, approaches, and pinsetters to ensure a safe and high-performance environment.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on pinsetter machines and other bowling equipment.
- Assist with general facility cleaning and organization during late-night shifts.
- Maintain accurate records of lane conditioning and maintenance activities.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
Required Skills
- Ability to work independently and efficiently during late-night hours.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn machine operation.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines meticulously.

- Prior experience in a maintenance, janitorial, or mechanical role.
