Job Description

Are you passionate about bikes but lack professional experience? Liberty Cycle Works is offering an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Bicycle Repair Mechanic Trainee. This is a hands-on, paid training program designed to equip you with all the skills needed to become a proficient bicycle mechanic. No prior experience is required – we will provide comprehensive, on-the-job training covering everything from basic adjustments to complex repairs. Key Responsibilities

  • Participate actively in all aspects of the paid training program.
  • Learn and perform basic bicycle assembly, tuning, and maintenance.
  • Assist experienced mechanics with more complex repairs and diagnostics.
  • Develop skills in inspecting bicycles for wear, damage, or malfunction.
  • Learn to identify and replace faulty parts such as chains, tires, brakes, and gears.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines.
  • Provide friendly and helpful service to customers when assisting senior staff.
