Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our team as Berry Sorters. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone looking for light manual work in a friendly and supportive environment, suitable for all ages and requiring no prior experience. Full training will be provided on-site at our Belconnen facility. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and freshness of our produce, contributing to our mission of delivering the best berries to our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Carefully sort and inspect various types of berries for quality, ripeness, and any defects.
- Gently pack sorted berries into appropriate containers according to company standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout your shift.
- Adhere strictly to all food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety standards.
- Report any quality control issues or equipment malfunctions to supervisors promptly.
Required Skills
- Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for quality.
- Ability to perform light, repetitive manual tasks for extended periods.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- No prior experience is required; full training will be provided.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a packing, sorting, or similar production role.
- A current food handling certificate.
- Access to reliable transport to our Belconnen facility.
