Job Description

Are you passionate about people and eager to learn the art of coffee making? Gloria Jean’s Coffees in Whyalla is looking for enthusiastic Barista Trainees to join our vibrant team. No prior experience is necessary – we believe in nurturing talent from the ground up! We will provide comprehensive, hands-on training to transform you into a skilled barista, capable of crafting delicious coffee and providing outstanding customer service. Key Responsibilities

  • Participate actively in all training sessions to learn coffee preparation techniques, latte art, and machine operation.
  • Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and process payments efficiently.
  • Prepare a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other drinks according to Gloria Jean's standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee station, equipment, and customer areas.
  • Assist with stocking inventory, refilling supplies, and managing waste.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth operations and a positive atmosphere.
  • Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Uphold Gloria Jean's customer service standards, ensuring every guest has an enjoyable experience.
