Are you passionate about art and helping others unleash their creativity? Michaels in Sugar Land, TX, is seeking a enthusiastic and knowledgeable Art Supplies Store Advisor to join our team. In this role, you will be the go-to expert for our customers, guiding them through our extensive selection of art materials, offering advice, and ensuring they have an inspiring and fulfilling shopping experience. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who loves art, enjoys a creative environment, and thrives on connecting with people. Full training on products and store operations will be provided, making it an ideal role for entry-level candidates with a passion for the arts.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and proactively assist them in finding art supplies and materials.
- Provide expert advice on products, techniques, and project ideas, tailored to individual customer needs.
- Operate cash register accurately, handling transactions and processing returns/exchanges efficiently.
- Maintain a visually appealing and organized store environment, including stocking shelves and creating engaging product displays.
- Assist with inventory management, ensuring products are readily available and accurately counted.
- Stay informed about new products, art trends, and promotions to better serve customers.
- Help maintain store cleanliness and ensure a safe shopping experience for all.
- Contribute to a positive team environment and uphold Michaels' standards of customer service.
