Job Description
We are seeking a talented and driven AR/VR Software Engineer to join our innovative team in Beaumont, TX. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and deploying immersive Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality solutions for industrial applications. You will work on projects that enhance training, maintenance, operational efficiency, and remote collaboration across various sectors. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement AR/VR applications using Unity/Unreal Engine for industrial and enterprise clients.
- Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other engineers to define feature specifications and deliver high-quality products.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in C# or C++ for robust AR/VR systems.
- Optimize AR/VR applications for performance, scalability, and cross-platform compatibility.
- Integrate various hardware and software components, including sensors, tracking systems, and industrial data platforms.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and deployment cycles.
- Stay current with emerging AR/VR technologies, tools, and best practices.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers where applicable.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Unity or Unreal Engine development.
- Strong programming skills in C# or C++.
- Experience with AR/VR SDKs (e.g., OpenXR, ARCore, ARKit, SteamVR, Oculus SDK).
- Solid understanding of 3D graphics principles, spatial computing, and human-computer interaction.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Ability to debug complex software systems and troubleshoot performance issues.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a passion for creating innovative solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with industrial automation, manufacturing, or energy sector applications.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, Google Cloud) for AR/VR deployment or data integration.
- Knowledge of real-time networking for multi-user AR/VR experiences.
- Experience with computer vision techniques or machine learning applied to AR/VR.
