Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Agribusiness Manager to oversee regional operations in Wyong, NSW. This pivotal role involves managing sales, service, and operational functions across a defined regional portfolio, ensuring the delivery of high-quality agricultural solutions to our valued clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving business growth, developing strong customer relationships, and leading a high-performing team to achieve strategic objectives and uphold Nutrien Ag Solutions’ commitment to excellence in the agricultural sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement regional business plans to achieve sales, profitability, and market share targets.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of agricultural professionals, fostering a culture of performance and continuous improvement.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key customers, suppliers, and industry stakeholders.
- Oversee the efficient management of inventory, logistics, and branch operations within the designated region.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards.
- Prepare and present regular reports on regional performance to senior management.
- Manage budgets and financial performance for the regional operations.
Required Skills
- Minimum 5 years of experience in agribusiness management or a related agricultural sales role.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
- Proven track record of achieving sales and operational targets.
- Strong understanding of agricultural products, services, and market dynamics specific to the region.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in financial management and budget oversight.
- Ability to work autonomously and make strategic decisions.
- Current driver's license and willingness to travel regionally.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Agribusiness, Agricultural Science, Commerce, or a related field.
- Experience with CRM software and agricultural management systems.
- Existing network within the Wyong / Central Coast agricultural community.
