Job Description
We are seeking motivated and physically fit Construction Labourers to join our dynamic team on a major project in Port Hedland. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals eager to contribute to significant infrastructure development and be part of a reputable national contractor. A current White Card is essential for this role. We offer a high hourly rate, excellent working conditions, and the chance to develop your skills within the construction industry. While previous experience is valued, we welcome applicants who are keen to learn and demonstrate a strong work ethic, as on-the-job training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist tradespersons and other site personnel as directed
- Perform general site cleanup and maintenance tasks
- Safely operate hand and power tools under supervision
- Dig trenches, shovel materials, and move supplies manually or with equipment
- Assist with the setup and dismantling of site equipment and temporary structures
- Ensure compliance with all site safety procedures and protocols
- Load and unload materials from delivery vehicles
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment
Required Skills
- Current and valid White Card (Construction Induction Card)
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
- Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labour tasks
- Reliable transport to and from the job site
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a construction or industrial environment
- Basic knowledge of construction materials and methods
- First Aid Certificate
- Forklift (LF) or other plant operation tickets
