Job Description
We are seeking meticulous and highly accurate individuals to join our team as Remote Standardized Test Scorers for an upcoming seasonal project. This is a work-from-home position primarily focused on evaluating written responses from standardized tests. Ideal candidates will possess a strong command of English, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to maintain consistent scoring standards under strict guidelines. While prior scoring experience is not mandatory, a bachelor’s degree in any field is required. Full training will be provided to ensure proficiency in our scoring rubrics and platforms. This is a seasonal contract role with varying hours based on project needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate test responses accurately and consistently according to established scoring rubrics.
- Maintain high levels of scoring reliability and validity.
- Participate in required calibration sessions to ensure scoring consistency.
- Adhere strictly to project schedules and deadlines.
- Maintain confidentiality of all test materials and candidate information.
- Communicate effectively with team leaders regarding any scoring discrepancies or challenges.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline (e.g., Arts, Science, Education, Humanities)
- Excellent reading comprehension and analytical skills
- Strong written communication skills in English
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to follow complex guidelines
- Proficiency with basic computer applications and reliable internet access
- Ability to work independently and maintain focus in a remote environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in academic writing, editing, or teaching
- Familiarity with standardized testing environments
