Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our team as Flower Packers. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for light, clean work in a pleasant environment with day shifts. No prior experience is required as full training will be provided. Your role will be crucial in ensuring our fresh flowers are carefully prepared, packed, and ready for dispatch to our clients across the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Carefully unpack incoming flower shipments and inspect for quality.
- Sort and arrange flowers according to type, size, and order specifications.
- Trim stems and prepare flowers for packaging.
- Pack flowers securely into boxes and containers, ensuring their protection during transit.
- Apply labels and documentation accurately to packed orders.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to hygiene standards.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation as needed.
- Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures.
Required Skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Basic communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a packing or warehouse role (advantageous but not essential).
- Familiarity with fresh produce handling (desirable).
