Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Public Sector Social Media Moderator to join our remote team. This vital role involves monitoring, engaging with, and moderating online conversations for our public sector clients across various social media platforms. You will be responsible for ensuring that all public-facing communications are accurate, appropriate, and adhere to strict government guidelines and community standards. Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor social media channels for mentions, comments, and inquiries related to public sector clients.

  • Identify and escalate sensitive issues, potential crises, or high-priority questions to the appropriate internal teams.
  • Ensure all online interactions comply with relevant public sector regulations, privacy policies, and accessibility standards.
  • Track and report on social media sentiment, engagement metrics, and emerging trends.
  • Contribute to the development of FAQs and response templates for common public inquiries.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of public sector initiatives and communications objectives.
