Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and organised Information Processing Clerk to join a vital public sector department in Bathurst. This full-time, Monday to Friday role involves accurate data entry, document management, and general administrative support to ensure smooth information flow within the department. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining data integrity and supporting operational efficiency. Full training on specific systems and processes will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform accurate and timely data entry into various government systems and databases.
- Process, classify, and file digital and physical documents in accordance with departmental guidelines.
- Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, including sorting, scanning, and distribution.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information.
- Assist with general administrative duties as required, such as preparing reports, scheduling appointments, and managing office supplies.
- Verify and correct data discrepancies to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Support internal teams with information retrieval and document requests.
