Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Project Coordinator to join our dynamic construction team in Tuggeranong. This role is pivotal in supporting our project managers and site teams, ensuring the smooth execution of various construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of administrative and logistical tasks, playing a key role in project planning, execution, and close-out. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Project Managers with project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate project documentation, including contracts, permits, reports, and drawings.
  • Facilitate communication between project teams, stakeholders, and subcontractors.
  • Manage project timelines and track progress against milestones.
  • Organize and attend project meetings, preparing agendas and recording minutes.
  • Process purchase orders, invoices, and expense claims, ensuring accuracy.
  • Maintain project management information systems and databases.
  • Support health and safety compliance on projects.
  • Prepare project reports and presentations as required.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a project coordination or administrative role, preferably within the construction or engineering sector.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A Diploma or Degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
