Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Federal Logistics & Supply Chain Assistant. This is an entry-level opportunity designed for individuals eager to start a career in logistics and supply chain management, particularly within the federal sector. No prior experience is required, as we provide comprehensive training to equip you with the knowledge and skills needed to succeed. You will play a crucial role in supporting our federal contracts, ensuring efficient and compliant movement of goods, and assisting with various administrative and operational tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the coordination and tracking of federal shipments, ensuring timely delivery and compliance.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to logistics operations, including manifests, customs forms, and invoices.
- Perform data entry for various logistics platforms and databases.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams, external partners, and federal agencies regarding shipment status and requirements.
- Support inventory management and warehousing activities as needed.
- Learn and adhere to federal regulations and company policies related to supply chain and logistics.
- Prepare reports and summaries on logistics activities for management review.
