Job Description
Are you looking to kickstart a career in the construction industry with no prior experience? Capital Demolition Group has urgent openings for motivated and physically fit Entry-Level Demolition Labourers to join our growing team in Greenway, ACT. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn valuable skills from experienced professionals, receive comprehensive on-the-job training, and become an integral part of high-impact demolition projects. If you’re reliable, eager to learn, and ready for a challenging yet rewarding role, we want to hear from you today! Full training and all necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist experienced demolition teams with site preparation and clean-up.
- Safely operate hand and power tools under supervision.
- Load and unload materials and debris.
- Adhere strictly to all site safety protocols and procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment.
- Perform general labouring tasks as directed by site supervisors.
- Learn and apply new demolition techniques and best practices.
Required Skills
- Physical fitness and stamina to perform demanding tasks.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to learn and take direction.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Commitment to workplace safety.
- Valid Australian driver's license (preferred for site access).
Preferred Qualifications
- Construction Induction White Card (can be obtained upon employment).
- Basic knowledge of hand tools.
- First Aid certification.
