Job Description
We are seeking dedicated and physically capable individuals to join our team as Bulk Goods Handlers in Karratha. This ongoing full-time position is crucial to the efficient movement and management of raw materials within our heavy industrial sites. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks that ensure the smooth operation of our logistics and processing chains, working in a dynamic and safety-focused environment. Full training will be provided to ensure you are equipped for success in this vital role.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely load and unload bulk materials using appropriate equipment and techniques.
- Operate various industrial equipment such as forklifts, loaders, or conveyer systems as required (training provided).
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and report any faults or maintenance needs.
- Adhere strictly to all site safety policies and procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area.
- Assist with inventory management and material tracking.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to meet operational targets.
- Perform general labouring duties as needed to support site operations.
Required Skills
- Strong commitment to safety protocols and procedures.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Good physical fitness and ability to perform manual handling tasks.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a heavy industrial or mining environment.
- Current C-Class (car) driver's license.
- Forklift license (LF) or willingness to obtain one.
- Basic mechanical aptitude.
