Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Machinery Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance and repair of complex manufacturing machinery at our state-of-the-art facility in Chandler, Arizona. This role is crucial for ensuring operational efficiency, safety, and continuous improvement. The successful candidate will lead a team of dedicated technicians, implement preventative maintenance programs, and troubleshoot advanced equipment issues. Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of maintenance technicians, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
- Develop, implement, and monitor preventative maintenance schedules for all manufacturing machinery to minimize downtime.
- Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues on production equipment.
- Coordinate with production teams to schedule maintenance activities and prioritize repairs to support manufacturing targets.
- Manage spare parts inventory, procurement, and ensure the availability of critical components.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and enforce compliance with all company and regulatory safety guidelines.
- Train and develop maintenance personnel on new equipment, procedures, and safety practices.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and prepare reports on equipment performance, uptime, and repair costs.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in machinery maintenance, with at least 4 years in a supervisory or lead role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong technical expertise in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a methodical approach to troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Commitment to safety and quality standards.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related technical field.
- Certifications in specific maintenance areas (e.g., Lean Six Sigma, OSHA 30).
- Experience with semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
- Prior experience working in a multinational or culturally diverse environment.
