Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and physically active individual to join our production team as a Juice Pressing Plant Laborer. This is an entry-level position perfect for someone who enjoys hands-on work in a fast-paced environment. You will be an integral part of our juice production process, ensuring the smooth operation of our pressing lines and contributing to the quality of our products. Full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor juice pressing machinery according to established procedures.
- Load raw fruit and produce into hoppers and feeders.
- Monitor equipment for proper functioning and report any issues to supervisors.
- Assist with the cleaning and sanitization of machinery, work areas, and equipment.
- Handle and move production materials, including fruit bins and pressed pulp.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
- Perform general plant upkeep and support tasks as needed.
- Follow quality control guidelines to ensure product standards are met.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 25kg, standing for extended periods, and repetitive motions.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of health and safety protocols (training provided).
- Effective communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, or warehouse environment.
- Experience with food handling or in a food production facility.
- Forklift certification (not required, but a plus).
