Job Description
This is an exciting entry-level opportunity to join our dedicated team as a Recycling Plant Hand in Penrith. No prior experience is required as full comprehensive training will be provided to ensure you are confident and competent in all aspects of the role. You will play a crucial part in our recycling operations, contributing directly to environmental sustainability by processing recyclable materials. This role requires physical fitness, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to workplace safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Sorting and processing various recyclable materials on a production line.
- Operating basic plant machinery under supervision after training.
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Assisting with the loading and unloading of materials as required.
- Performing general labouring tasks within the recycling facility.
- Collaborating effectively with team members and supervisors.

- Ability to perform physical tasks, including regular lifting and standing for extended periods.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Commitment to following all safety procedures.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Basic communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and processes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse or industrial environment (beneficial but not required).
- A valid forklift license (training may be offered if you don't have one).
- An understanding of basic waste sorting principles.
