Job Description
We are seeking highly motivated and physically fit individuals to join our team as Container Unloaders in Mount Gambier. This is a demanding yet rewarding role perfect for those who enjoy active work and being part of a dynamic team. You will be responsible for manually unloading a variety of goods from shipping containers, ensuring efficient and safe handling. Full training will be provided to successful candidates.
Key Responsibilities
- Manually unload goods from shipping containers safely and efficiently
- Sort and stack products according to company procedures and instructions
- Operate pallet jacks and other manual handling equipment as required (training provided)
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies
- Report any damaged goods or safety hazards promptly
Required Skills
- Ability to perform repetitive heavy lifting (up to 25kg)
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Good physical stamina and fitness
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Basic understanding of workplace safety procedures
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment
- Current forklift license (not essential, but an advantage)
- First Aid certification
