Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional for a Non-Ongoing Government Contract role based in Rockingham, Western Australia. This opportunity offers a high hourly rate for an individual capable of hitting the ground running and contributing immediately to critical government projects. The successful candidate will be engaged on a temporary, project-specific basis, providing specialised expertise to support key initiatives within a demanding government environment. This role requires exceptional problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and a proven track record in similar contract work.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and deliver on specific project tasks as outlined in the contract statement of work.
- Liaise effectively with government stakeholders and internal teams to ensure project alignment.
- Provide expert advice and technical solutions to complex challenges within the project scope.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and documentation, ensuring compliance with government standards.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to maintain project timelines and objectives.
- Contribute to team meetings and strategic planning sessions, offering insights and recommendations.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in government contracting or public sector project delivery.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex tasks and deliver results under pressure.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including report writing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a collaborative team.
- Australian Citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain necessary security clearances.
Preferred Qualifications
- Formal qualifications in Business, Project Management, Public Administration, or a related field.
- Previous experience working directly with Western Australian government departments.
