Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and organised Government Fleet Support – Vehicle Fleet Admin to join our team in Lismore, NSW. This pivotal role involves providing comprehensive administrative support for our diverse government vehicle fleet. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and compliance of all fleet-related activities, from data management to scheduling and record-keeping. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, contributing significantly to the efficiency of essential public services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain accurate vehicle fleet records, including registration, maintenance schedules, and usage logs.
  • Process invoices, requisitions, and other financial documentation related to fleet operations.
  • Coordinate vehicle servicing, repairs, and inspections with external providers and internal stakeholders.
  • Assist with vehicle allocation, transfers, and disposals, ensuring all procedures are followed.
  • Communicate effectively with drivers, managers, and service providers regarding fleet matters.
  • Prepare reports on fleet performance, costs, and compliance as required.
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant government policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
  • Handle general administrative duties such as filing, data entry, and correspondence.
  • Assist in the procurement of new vehicles and equipment as directed.
