Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our team as Retail Warehouse Hands in our Belconnen distribution centre. This is an entry-level position perfect for those looking to kickstart their career in logistics and retail operations. No prior experience is required, as comprehensive training will be provided to ensure you are confident and capable in your role. You will be an integral part of our supply chain, helping to ensure products are accurately received, stored, and prepared for dispatch to our stores. Key Responsibilities
- Receive and unload incoming inventory, checking for accuracy against manifests
- Sort and organise products efficiently within the warehouse
- Pick and pack orders accurately for store delivery
- Operate warehouse equipment safely, once trained (e.g., pallet jacks)
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 20kg) consistently
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Basic communication skills
