Job Description
Are you looking to start a new career with a leading online retailer? Amazon Australia is seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals for an Entry Level Bulk Order Sorter position at our Blacktown fulfillment center. No prior experience is required – we provide comprehensive training to ensure your success. This role is perfect for someone who is detail-oriented, enjoys a fast-paced environment, and is ready to contribute to a critical part of our customer delivery process. You’ll be responsible for accurately sorting incoming and outgoing bulk orders, ensuring products are directed to the correct locations for packing and shipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately sort bulk orders into designated areas based on product type, destination, or other criteria.
- Utilize scanning equipment to track inventory movement and update system records.
- Inspect products for quality and report any damages or discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and meet daily targets.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed, including packing or loading/unloading.
- Operate manual pallet jacks or other equipment after proper training.
Required Skills
- Ability to read and understand sorting instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to stand, walk, lift, and carry items weighing up to 15 kg for extended periods.
- Basic communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
- Commitment to workplace safety.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment (not required, but a plus).
- Familiarity with basic computer or scanner operations.
