Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Junior Fashion Intern to join our design and production team. This is a unique opportunity for an aspiring fashion professional to gain practical, entry-level experience in pattern cutting and sample development. The successful candidate will work closely with our experienced pattern makers and designers, contributing to the creation of new collections from concept to sample. This role is ideal for someone passionate about the technical aspects of fashion design, eager to learn, and ready to immerse themselves in a creative studio environment. Full training and mentorship will be provided, making this an excellent stepping stone for your fashion career.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior pattern makers with drafting, amending, and digitizing patterns.
- Support the team in cutting and assembling garment samples from various fabrics.
- Organize and maintain fabric swatches, pattern archives, and studio materials.
- Learn to identify and correct fit issues during sample fittings.
- Assist with quality control checks on incoming materials and outgoing samples.
- Contribute to general studio tasks and maintain a tidy and efficient workspace.
- Observe and learn about the entire garment development lifecycle.
Required Skills
- Strong passion for fashion design and garment construction.
- Basic understanding of fabrics and garment components.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proactive and eager to learn new skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team.

Preferred Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a fashion design, pattern making, or related program.
- Basic knowledge of sewing techniques and machine operation.
- Familiarity with fashion industry terminology.
- Experience with Adobe Illustrator or similar design software (not essential, but a plus).
