Job Description

As a Wealth Management Associate – Professional at NAB in Geraldton, you will play a crucial role in supporting our team of Wealth Advisors to deliver exceptional financial planning services to our valued clients. This position involves assisting with client relationship management, preparing financial reports, conducting research, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. You will be instrumental in the day-to-day operations of our wealth management division, contributing to a seamless and efficient client experience. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Wealth Advisors in preparing client financial plans and strategies.
  • Conduct research and analysis on investment products, market trends, and economic conditions.
  • Prepare client meeting materials, including reports, presentations, and correspondence.
  • Process client service requests, account openings, transfers, and other administrative tasks.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Liaise with internal departments and external product providers as needed.
  • Support the client onboarding process and ongoing client relationship management.
  • Ensure all activities adhere to NAB's policies, procedures, and ethical standards.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in a financial services or wealth management environment.
  • Strong understanding of financial products, investments, and wealth management principles.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Completion or progression towards relevant industry certifications (e.g., RG146, DFP).
  • Experience with financial planning software platforms.
  • Knowledge of Australian financial regulations and compliance frameworks.
