As a Casual Day Work Storesperson Trainee, you will receive comprehensive training in all aspects of warehouse operations, focusing on safety, efficiency, and teamwork. You’ll be involved in preparing items for dispatch, assisting with inventory management, and learning the fundamentals of forklift operation under strict supervision. We are looking for individuals who are reliable, eager to learn, and committed to maintaining our high standards of workplace safety. This role offers flexible casual shifts during day work hours, providing a great balance for those seeking to gain experience without a full-time commitment initially. Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the receiving, sorting, and dispatching of goods.
- Learn and adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.
- Participate in stocktakes and inventory control activities.
- Prepare and organise items for forklift movement and dispatch, always under supervision.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment.
- Follow instructions from senior stores personnel and supervisors.
- Contribute positively to a team-oriented workplace.
Required Skills
- A strong eagerness to learn and develop new skills.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
- Physical capability to perform manual handling tasks (lifting, bending, standing).

- No prior experience required – full training will be provided!
Preferred Qualifications
- Current Australian Driver's License and reliable transport to Osborne Park.
- A genuine interest in logistics, warehousing, or supply chain operations.
- Previous experience in a casual work setting (any industry) is a bonus but not essential.
