Job Description

Green Mountain Power is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Carbon Offset Programs Administrator – Entry Level Corporate. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about sustainability to kickstart their career with a leading renewable energy provider in Vermont. As an Entry Level Corporate Administrator, you will play a crucial supporting role in the administration and coordination of our carbon offset programs. This position is ideal for individuals with no prior experience in the field, as we provide all necessary training to equip you with the knowledge and skills required to excel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the data entry, tracking, and reporting of carbon offset program activities.
  • Support the team in maintaining accurate records and documentation related to carbon reduction initiatives.
  • Coordinate administrative tasks, including scheduling meetings, preparing presentations, and managing correspondence.
  • Learn and apply internal policies and external regulations pertinent to carbon offset projects.
  • Collaborate with various internal departments to gather necessary information and ensure program compliance.
  • Assist in the preparation of program-related reports and summaries for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance knowledge of carbon markets and sustainability practices.

Required Skills

  • Familiarity with data management or database systems.
