Job Description
Are you passionate about helping others and looking to start a rewarding career in care? Bolton Clarke is seeking enthusiastic and compassionate individuals to join our team as Home Care Support Workers in Morwell. This is an entry-level position where no prior experience is required! We provide comprehensive paid training to equip you with all the skills needed to deliver exceptional care and make a real difference in the lives of our clients. If you have a kind heart, a willingness to learn, and a desire to contribute positively to your community, we encourage you to apply. Full training is provided, along with ongoing support and weekly pay.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care, including showering, dressing, and grooming
- Provide support with meal preparation and eating
- Perform light domestic duties such as tidying, laundry, and cleaning
- Offer companionship and engage clients in social activities
- Assist with mobility and transfers using appropriate equipment
- Support clients with medication reminders (under supervision)
- Accompany clients to appointments or on outings as required
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in client condition
Required Skills
- Genuine compassion and empathy for older adults and people with disabilities
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid Australian Driver's License and reliable transport
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates (or willingness to obtain before starting paid training)
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a caregiving role (informal or formal)
- Certificate III in Individual Support (or working towards)
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
