Job Description

Are you passionate about helping others and looking to start a rewarding career in care? Bolton Clarke is seeking enthusiastic and compassionate individuals to join our team as Home Care Support Workers in Morwell. This is an entry-level position where no prior experience is required! We provide comprehensive paid training to equip you with all the skills needed to deliver exceptional care and make a real difference in the lives of our clients. Full training is provided, along with ongoing support and weekly pay.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with personal care, including showering, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide support with meal preparation and eating
  • Perform light domestic duties such as tidying, laundry, and cleaning
  • Offer companionship and engage clients in social activities
  • Assist with mobility and transfers using appropriate equipment
  • Support clients with medication reminders (under supervision)
  • Accompany clients to appointments or on outings as required
  • Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in client condition

Required Skills

  • Genuine compassion and empathy for older adults and people with disabilities
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid Australian Driver's License and reliable transport
  • Current First Aid and CPR certificates (or willingness to obtain before starting paid training)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a caregiving role (informal or formal)
  • Certificate III in Individual Support (or working towards)
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
