Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Tile Grout Cleaning Assistant. This is a manual labor position that requires a keen eye for cleanliness, a strong work ethic, and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks. As an Assistant, you will work alongside experienced technicians, learning specialized techniques for cleaning and restoring tile and grout surfaces in residential and commercial settings. Full training will be provided for candidates who demonstrate reliability and a commitment to quality work.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist lead technicians in the preparation and execution of tile and grout cleaning projects.
- Operate and maintain specialized cleaning equipment safely and effectively after training.
- Diligent scrubbing, brushing, and rinsing of tile and grout surfaces to remove dirt, stains, and mildew.
- Apply sealants and protective coatings as instructed.
- Ensure all work areas are properly protected before cleaning and left tidy upon completion.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company standards.
- Maintain a professional demeanor and excellent communication with team members and clients.
Required Skills
- Strong attention to detail and a meticulous approach to tasks.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work, including kneeling, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and standing for extended periods.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Basic communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a manual labor or cleaning role (not strictly required, but a plus).
