Job Description
We are seeking a talented and imaginative WFH Creative Writer to join our fully remote team. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in developing compelling storylines, engaging character dialogues, and rich world-building for our upcoming games and interactive applications. This is a fantastic opportunity for a wordsmith with a passion for gaming and digital experiences to contribute to projects from concept to launch. You will work closely with game designers, artists, and developers to ensure a cohesive and captivating narrative journey for our users.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop original concepts, characters, and storylines for new game and app projects.
- Write engaging and dynamic dialogue that brings characters to life.
- Create detailed lore, world-building documents, and narrative outlines.
- Collaborate with game designers to integrate narrative elements seamlessly into gameplay mechanics.
- Iterate on scripts and narrative content based on feedback from internal teams and playtesting.
- Ensure consistency in tone, voice, and style across all narrative content.
- Contribute to brainstorming sessions for new project ideas and features.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in creative writing, particularly in narrative development.
- Exceptional storytelling abilities with a strong grasp of plot, character, and pacing.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a remote environment.
- Proficiency in screenwriting or game writing software (e.g., Celtx, Twine).
