Job Description

Woolworths Group is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Supply Chain Intern to join our team in Kingscliff, NSW. This entry-level internship offers an unparalleled opportunity to gain hands-on experience in large-scale distribution operations. You will support our experienced supply chain professionals, learn critical industry processes, and contribute to the seamless flow of goods from suppliers to our stores. Key Responsibilities
- Assist with data entry and maintenance of supply chain systems and records.
- Support inventory management activities, including stock counts and reconciliation.
- Learn and contribute to logistics planning and execution, including transport scheduling.
- Collaborate with various departments to understand end-to-end supply chain processes.
- Prepare reports and presentations on supply chain performance metrics.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives and special projects.
- Shadow experienced team members to gain insights into daily operations.
Required Skills
- Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a Bachelor's degree program (any discipline).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving aptitude.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Eagerness to learn and a proactive attitude.
Preferred Qualifications
- Enrolled in a degree program related to Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or Commerce.
- Familiarity with basic supply chain concepts (e.g., inventory, warehousing, transportation) through coursework.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Previous volunteer or project-based experience showcasing organizational skills.
