Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and reliable Residential Pool Cleaning Technician to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in their work, and wants to be part of a company dedicated to customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for maintaining a dedicated route of residential pools, ensuring they are clean, safe, and functioning optimally. Full training on our specific cleaning protocols, water chemistry, and equipment operation will be provided to ensure your success.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks for residential swimming pools, including skimming, brushing, and vacuuming.
- Test and balance pool water chemistry using provided chemicals and testing equipment.
- Empty skimmer and pump baskets, and backwash filters as needed.
- Inspect pool equipment for proper functioning and report any issues or potential repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and chemical usage.
- Communicate courteously and professionally with homeowners regarding pool status or concerns.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company guidelines.
- Manage and maintain a company service vehicle, including keeping it stocked and organized.
Required Skills
- Ability to work independently and manage a daily route efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
- Good physical stamina and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in outdoor labor, maintenance, or service industries.
- Basic understanding of water chemistry or willingness to learn quickly.
- Familiarity with the Charleston geographic area.
