Job Description
Join the Woolworths Group team as a Seasonal Picker & Packer for the exciting Christmas & Peak Season! We are seeking energetic and reliable individuals to help us meet the increased demand during our busiest time of the year. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience in a fast-paced retail and logistics environment, with full training provided. You’ll play a crucial role in ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and on time, contributing directly to a seamless shopping experience during the festive period.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders according to specified guidelines and quality standards.
- Operate handheld scanners to track inventory and order progress efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment at all times.
- Assist with the replenishment and rotation of stock as needed to ensure product availability.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
- Work effectively as part of a dedicated team to achieve daily picking and packing targets.
Required Skills
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail for correct order fulfillment.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential for peak season operations.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills for reading orders and counting items.
- Physical capability to lift, carry, and move packages (up to 15kg) as required.
- A positive attitude and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse, retail, or fast-paced operational environment is a plus.
- Manual handling training or awareness of safe lifting practices.
