Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Sponsorship & VIP Experience Intern to join our team in Fremantle. This is a unique opportunity for an aspiring professional to gain hands-on experience in the exciting world of event management, specifically focusing on sponsor relations and VIP guest services. You will work closely with our experienced team, contributing to the planning, execution, and post-event analysis of various projects. This role is perfect for someone looking to launch their career in events, offering comprehensive training and mentorship in a fast-paced environment. No prior experience is required; we are looking for eagerness to learn and a can-do attitude.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in researching potential sponsors and partners for upcoming events.
- Support the preparation of sponsorship proposals and presentations.
- Help manage sponsor databases and communication logs.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of VIP experience packages.
- Assist with on-site VIP guest check-ins and support during events.
- Coordinate logistical elements related to sponsor activations and VIP areas.
- Gather and organize post-event feedback from sponsors and VIP guests.
- Provide administrative support to the Sponsorship and VIP Experience teams.
Required Skills
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- High level of enthusiasm and a proactive attitude
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Eagerness to learn and adapt quickly
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, or a related field.
- Previous volunteer experience at events or festivals.
- A passion for live events and creating exceptional guest experiences.
