Job Description

We are seeking a talented Natural Language Processing (NLP) Tech to join our dynamic team in Warrnambool. In this role, you will be instrumental in the design, development, and deployment of cutting-edge NLP solutions that transform complex textual data into actionable insights. You will work on a variety of exciting projects, from building intelligent chatbots and sentiment analysis systems to developing advanced text summarization tools. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, and deploy robust NLP models and algorithms for various applications.
  • Preprocess, clean, and analyze large datasets of text to prepare them for NLP tasks.

  • Monitor, evaluate, and optimize the performance and accuracy of deployed NLP systems.

  • Contribute to the entire software development lifecycle, from ideation to deployment and maintenance.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in Python programming language.
  • Demonstrable experience with major NLP libraries such as NLTK, spaCy, or Hugging Face Transformers.
  • Solid understanding of machine learning fundamentals, including supervised and unsupervised learning.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to work with complex data.
  • Familiarity with data manipulation and analysis libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Computational Linguistics, or a related quantitative field.
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) for deploying machine learning models.
  • Proficiency with version control systems, particularly Git.
  • Experience in developing and deploying scalable NLP applications in a production environment.
