Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Marketing Student Placement to join our dynamic marketing team as a Social Media Lead. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and implementation of social media strategies across various platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok).
  • Create engaging and relevant content, including text, image, and video posts, tailored for different social media channels.
  • Schedule and publish social media content using scheduling tools.
  • Monitor social media channels for trends, mentions, and community engagement, responding to comments and messages as appropriate.
  • Support in analyzing social media performance data and generating reports to inform future strategies.
  • Research industry best practices and emerging social media trends to keep ECU's strategy innovative.
  • Collaborate with the broader marketing team to ensure brand consistency and campaign alignment.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions for new campaigns and content ideas.

Required Skills

  • Currently enrolled in a relevant tertiary degree (e.g., Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Media Studies).
  • Strong interest in social media and digital marketing.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic understanding of popular social media platforms.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills.
