Job Description
The Home Depot is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Buyer & Merchandiser Intern to join our dynamic team at our Retail Headquarters in Atlanta, GA. This internship offers an unparalleled opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the fast-paced world of retail buying and merchandising. You will work closely with experienced buyers and merchandisers, supporting them in various stages of the product lifecycle, from vendor relations and assortment planning to pricing strategies and promotional activities. Key Responsibilities
- Assist buyers with data analysis, market research, and competitive shopping to identify trends and opportunities.
- Support the merchandising team in developing product assortments and planograms.
- Participate in vendor meetings and assist with preparing presentations and reports.
- Help maintain product information in internal systems, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Analyze sales performance and inventory levels to support purchasing decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, supply chain, and store operations.
- Contribute to special projects aimed at improving merchandising strategies and processes.

- Previous experience in a retail environment (e.g., sales associate, customer service) is a plus.
- Availability to work full-time during the internship period.
