Job Description

Nutrien Ltd. in Fort Saskatchewan is looking for a motivated Grounds Maintenance Worker / Trainee Gardener to join our team. This is an entry-level position perfect for individuals with no prior experience who are keen to learn and grow. We provide comprehensive training and all necessary tools and equipment. You’ll play a vital role in maintaining the aesthetics and safety of our facility’s extensive grounds, contributing to a pleasant and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform general groundskeeping duties including mowing, trimming, edging lawns, and watering plants.
  • Weed, cultivate, and mulch garden beds.
  • Plant and maintain flowers, shrubs, and trees.
  • Operate and maintain groundskeeping equipment safely (e.g., mowers, trimmers, blowers).
  • Assist with minor repairs and maintenance of outdoor structures.
  • Keep outdoor areas clean and free of debris, including litter collection.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards.
