Job Description

As a Delivery Rider, you’ll be the crucial link between local restaurants and hungry customers, ensuring timely and friendly delivery of orders. No prior professional delivery experience is required; we provide the support you need to get started!
Key Responsibilities
- Pick up food orders from various restaurants and businesses in Victor Harbor.
- Safely and efficiently deliver orders to customer locations within designated timeframes.
- Interact professionally and courteously with restaurant staff and customers.
- Adhere to all road safety regulations and traffic laws.
- Maintain a high standard of personal hygiene and presentation.
- Manage orders and navigation using the Menulog rider app on your smartphone.
Required Skills
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Possession of a reliable bicycle, scooter, or motorcycle.
- A valid driver's license (if operating a motor vehicle) and appropriate vehicle registration/insurance.
- Access to a smartphone (iOS or Android) with data.
- Ability to use GPS and navigation apps effectively.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Basic understanding of the Victor Harbor area or willingness to learn quickly.
- Ability to lift and carry delivery bags (up to 10kg).
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role.
- Familiarity with the Menulog platform (as a user or former rider).
- A positive attitude and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
