Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Bread Delivery Helper to join our night shift team in Maitland, FL. This is a crucial role ensuring our fresh bread and baked goods reach our clients promptly and in perfect condition. You will assist our drivers with loading, unloading, and delivering products during overnight hours. Key Responsibilities
- Assist drivers with loading and unloading bread and baked goods onto delivery vehicles.
- Carefully handle products to prevent damage during transit.
- Verify accurate product counts against delivery manifests.
- Help navigate routes and ensure timely deliveries to various client locations.
- Maintain cleanliness of the delivery vehicle interior and ensure products are stored hygienically.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and traffic regulations.
- Communicate effectively with drivers and dispatch regarding delivery status or issues.
Required Skills
- Ability to work consistent night shifts (typically 10 PM – 6 AM or similar).
- Physical capability to lift and move heavy trays and boxes (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly.
- Strong sense of reliability and punctuality.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Basic communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or delivery role (even if not driving).
- Familiarity with the Maitland and surrounding Central Florida area.
- A valid driver's license (not required for this helper role, but a plus for future advancement).
