Job Description
Are you passionate about bikes but lack formal experience in mechanics? This is your chance to turn your hobby into a career! 99 Bikes is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our Geelong team as a Trainee Bicycle Repair Mechanic. No prior experience is required – we provide comprehensive, hands-on, paid training to equip you with all the skills needed to become a proficient bike mechanic. You’ll learn everything from basic adjustments to complex repairs, working with a diverse range of bicycles and components. Key Responsibilities
- Actively participate in and complete all provided training modules and practical sessions.
- Assist senior mechanics with various repair and maintenance tasks on bicycles.
- Perform basic bike assembly, adjustments, and safety checks under supervision.
- Maintain a clean and organized workshop environment.
- Learn to diagnose common bicycle issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Develop a strong understanding of different bicycle components and their functions.
- Contribute to a positive and customer-focused team atmosphere.
