Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Cattery Attendant to join our team on a casual, flexible basis. This role is perfect for someone who loves cats, is detail-oriented, and is looking for rewarding day work with varying hours. As a Cattery Attendant, you will be responsible for the daily care, feeding, and well-being of our feline guests, ensuring they receive the highest standard of attention and comfort. Full training will be provided, so a positive attitude and a genuine love for animals are your most important qualifications!
Key Responsibilities
- Provide daily feeding and fresh water according to strict dietary schedules.
- Clean and maintain cattery enclosures, litter trays, and communal areas to the highest hygiene standards.
- Monitor the health and behavior of all cats, reporting any concerns immediately to management.
- Administer medications as directed by management (after appropriate training).
- Engage in playtime and provide cuddles/attention to cats, ensuring their emotional well-being.
- Maintain accurate records of feeding, cleaning, and any observations.
- Assist with guest check-ins and check-outs, ensuring a smooth transition for cats and owners.
- Perform general facility upkeep and laundry duties.
Required Skills

- Excellent observation skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to follow instructions meticulously.

- Previous experience in animal care, veterinary assistance, or a cattery setting (though not required, as full training is provided).
- Current First Aid certification.
- Driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Knowledge of basic cat behavior and common health signs.
